—  Portfolio Program—

The Portfolio Program is for students who are seriously pursuing art as a career. In this program, students will hone their skills, develop professionalism, and will learn to produce portfolio-quality art with consistency. It is a safe environment for students to learn, grow, ask questions, and take risks in their art with the close guidance of a professional artist.

Students in this program will have priority attention, extra access to the studio outside their normal class hours, and unique opportunities. These include: field trips to ArtCenter College of Design, art galleries, and other relevant outside locations, and unique project opportunities that bring a greater understanding to the career path of an artist.

Since the Portfolio Program is designed for students who have an art career in mind, we help in the process of developing portfolios for college apps. It should be understood that at least 1-2 years of hard work may be necessary in order to produce a quality portfolio. Students may need extra work hours in the studio, especially if they are unable to work consistently at home. Rainbow Art's role in portfolio production is to provide guidance and instruction. It should be understood that we will not touch up or directly create any content for our students. It is our intention to not only help our students produce a portfolio but to equip them for whatever creative, life, and career challenges might lie ahead.
